Throughout the course, we have discussed how artworks manifest the influence of larger philosophical movements. Compare and contrast the influence of Enlightenment thinking on the art of the 18th century with the influence of Humanism on the art of the Renaissance. Use the analyses of David’s Oath of the Horatii and Raphael’s School of Athens as a base for your comparison.
